Hello. I am the first voice you'll hear when you call and the first person you'll see when you visit our office. I keep things running smoothly and will coordinate your treatment.

I have been working in dentistry for more than 13 years. I enjoy working with Dr. Toohey and our caring team. My career has given me valuable life experience and opportunities both at work and at home. Life can be busy, but I spend as much time as possible with my husband and our two children.

Greetings! I love my job as a dental assistant. This is a second career for me. Prior to having children I worked as an architectural draftsperson but gave that career up to stay at home to raise our family. When it was time to return to work, I wa blessed to have had the opportunity to pursue and complete the requirements as a RDA II and have been employed by Dr. Toohey for over 10 years. I have also completed the Orthodontic specialty Module, that is to RDA's.

I am fortunate to attended many continuing education courses in aesthetic dentistry which greatly enhances my ability to provide the best possible service to our patients. My architectural background has also been an advantage and has provided me with a "good eye" for Dr. Toohey's aesthetic cases. I find these cases are truely rewarding both to our clients as well as myself. There is so much satisfaction and joy to see a person look at their new smile and truely SMILE from the inside out!!!

Welcome! My name is Rhonda. I have worked as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDAII) with Dr. Toohey for over twelve years. In this time, I have seen many of our patients in this practice grow from small children into adults.

 I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to attend many advanced dental courses. Through these courses, I have attained a greater appreciation and understanding of cosmetic dentistry. It is very rewarding to be able to improve someone’s personal well-being by accentuating or modifying their smile.

Personally, I enjoy many hobbies. I like to maintain my fitness level by running, weight training, horseback riding, and gardening.  I also enjoy many crafts. My husband, myself and our two children, enjoy camping and hiking during the summer months.

I graduated from the University of Alberta Dental Hygiene program in 1979 and have been happily working in private practice for more than 20 years. I enjoy updating my skills through continuing education courses and I enjoy working with my patients on a daily basis.

My family and I have resided in Beaumont since 1995. I'm an officer in the Beaumont Dance Society, basketball fan and a dance mom. I also enjoy golfing, camping, curling, gardening and reading.

My favorite piece of advice: Treat others as you wish to be treated and welcome each new day with open arms.

My favorite childhood memory: Camping at different lakes and eating sunflower seeds around the campfire with my family.

 I graduated from the University of Alberta Dental Hygiene program in 1988 and continue to learn more about my career everyday.  Each patient is truly a unique individual for which we create a personalized treatment plan.  I enjoy learning and working with Dr. Toohey and our amazing team in a patient centered approach that takes dental care to a greater level.

My incredible children Laurel & Davis are my world outside the office & keep me busy with soccer, volleyball, snowboarding, and college & socializing! The corner stones of my life include my family, my friends & my faith.  I am grateful for them all.

Hi, I have recently joined this team after a hiatus from dentistry, to spend time with two growing boys.

It’s great to have been given a position with such a dynamic and positive group of professionals. I am enjoying this experience and am happy to see so many familiar faces, and so many new ones.  It’s a thrill to experience the joy of new smiles, and to bring smiles to the faces of the reluctant that are less than thrilled. 

My husband and I spend our spare time hockey with our two boys, and I love spending time on our farm with all of our beautiful pets.
